Winter Camp – מחנה חורף
Machane Horef (Winter Camp) is the first major camp out for the year where the entire troop takes part (other than 2nd grade).
Members of Shevet Chen look forward to this camp all year. For two fun winter days, Chanichim will take part in exciting activities, experience the outdoors, and have an amazing time bonding with their friends. Did we mention to bonfire and marshmallows?
Cabins are divided by grades and gender and each cabin has multiple counselors watching over the kids and sleeping in their cabins at night (for the younger ages). All meals are Kosher and vegetarian options will also be available.
One of the highlights of the camp is “Festi-Chen” where each group comes up with a performance that is theme-based. Our panel of judges (the Vaad) loves taking part of this event.
Your children return from camp, full of excitement, memorable experiences, new friends and a lot of dirty laundry!
Lodging will be in cabins, and each bunk is equipped with a bed for each child and restrooms / showers.
Volunteers:
- We will need 2-3 parents to join the Vaad and help with overseeing the camp activities, night watch and more.
- Signing up as a volunteer will not guarantee participation.
